Dr. Marco Mozzati

Dr. Marco Mozzati is specialized in Odontostomatology at the University of Turin. He is an expert in Implantology and implant prosthetics. Furthermore, he is interested in the study of new regenerative treatments with Platelet Rich Plasma and growth factors. He is one of the few dentists in Italy who deals with zygomatic implants and since 2000 he has been an Oral Implantologist Surgeon at the SIOM Medical Center in Turin. He is Scientific President of the CEFME project, dedicated to the research and use of platelet concentrates in medicine. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and textbooks on Oral Surgery. 1st level Medical Director from 1998 to 2012 at the Autonomous Oral Rehabilitation and Maxillofacial Prosthesis and Dental Implants Service of the San Giovanni Battista Hospital in Turin. From 2002 to 2012 he was a dental consultant at the CTO hospital, Department of Plastic Surgery and Maxillofacial Traumatology Prof. Magliacani. From January 2005 to 2012 Chief Medical Officer of the S.S.C.V.D. Dental Surgery Department of Odontostomatology directed by Prof. Stefano Carossa, at the San Giovanni Battista Hospital in Turin. Contract professor from 2004 to 2012 with the teaching of Oral Surgery for the Degree Course in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics. From 2005 to 2012 he chaired the teaching chair of Oral Surgery for the Degree Course in Dental Hygiene of the University of Turin. Founding member of the Piezosurgery Academy. Member of the IPA Scientific Commission 2020/2022. Active member SIO. Founding member and Past President of ANTHEC (Academy of Non Transfusional Hemo-Components).
