Graduated in Dentistry at the University of Florence, he specialized in Odontostomatological Surgery at the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery of the C.T.O. from the same University, followed by a post-graduate degree from the Oral and Maxillofacial Department, Guy's and St. Thomas' Hospital, London, UK. Registered at GDC in London, UK, he will essentially perform exercises for zygomatic implant surgery. Membership Fellow, Royal Society of Medicine, London, UK. He attended the rehabilitation department of severe maxillary atrophy with zygomatic implants of St. Jean Clinique directed in Brussels by Professor Chantal Malevez, the highest authority for zygomatic implants. He had a freelance hospital appointment for the surgical treatment of severe jaw atrophy using zygomatic implants at the U.O. Oral Surgery directed by Prof. Mario Gabriele of the S. Chiara Hospital, University of Pisa. Speaker of several training and in-depth courses on zygomatic implantology in Italy and abroad, he is the author of national and international publications. In January 2016 he was awarded the Prize for Best Oral Communication at the Royal Society of Medicine, London, UK on: "Advances in Maxillofacial Surgery: the treatment of atrphic maxilla using zygomatic implants: a new mini-invasive technique". After about 15 years of interest in zygomatic implants and over 100 procedures performed, he publishes his first book: "Zygomatic implants: current events in atrophic maxillary rehabilitation of prosthetic implants" Quintessence Editore. He currently holds the position of Research Fellow on "Prosthetic-implant treatment of severe maxillary atrophy through zygomatic implants" at the Oral Surgery Unit of the S.
